Rick graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Kansas State University. He first became involved in broadcasting and production in 1981 as a weekend DJ for an FM radio station in Kansas. From there, he worked in a succession of television stations in Kansas and Texas doing everything from engineering and production to news, promotions, and
programming. During this time he was involved in founding two low-power and two full-power start-up television stations. In 1994, he moved to Las Vegas, where he joined Century Productions as Director of Client Services. Under Rick’s guidance, he helped expand that facility and grow it’s client base prior to its sale in 2003. In January, 2006, Rick joined 808 Post and Production as Operations Manager with the goal of making 808 Post and Production the most cutting edge High Definition production facility in Nevada.
